Gary
Hartman, on vocals and guitar, has performed throughout the United States and
Europe and has shared the stage with such country greats as Johnny Rodriguez.
Howard
Kalish has played music in Texas for over 25 years. He's had the honor of
performing with Johnny Bush, Ray Price, Hank Thompson and many other Country and Western
Swing legends including 14 years with the Pavarotti of the Plains, Don Walser. In addition
to playing in the Texas Swing Kings, Howard also plays fiddle in the Cornell Hurd Band.
Sweet and swinging, the dulcet tones of Howard's fiddle can be heard on many recordings

Michael
Landschoot is one of the most versatile guitarists in the Austin music scene.
He's performed with Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, Hal Ketchum, Alan Munde, and several
members of the original Texas Playboys. He is a founding member and lead vocalist for
Austin's legendary bluegrass band, the Grazmatics. Michael draws from a broad background
in country, swing, and bluegrass to lay down some of the hottest guitar licks around.
Robert
Pool has played and recorded music with many fine musicians over the years, including
instrumentalist like Jimmy Day, Junior Brown, Vince Gill, Larry Sparks, Paul Glasse, Mark
O'Conner, Johnny Gimble, Jimmy Don Bates, Robert Earl Keen and many others. His
instruments of choice are a 1954 Kay upright and 1956 Fender Precision which been with him
since his teens.
Gary Mortensen,
dobro player, has lived in central Texas for four
years, where he's been active in all areas of acoustic music. He
previously lived in Minnesota, where he played swing and bluegrass
with several Twin Cities acoustic bands. When he's not busy playing
with the Swing Kings, he hosts a weekly radio program in Bryan, TX,
called, "The Hillbilly Hipster Experience".
Paul
Glasse, Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame Inductee and former National Mandolin
Champion, is a swing, jazz, and country mandolin virtuoso who has performed and/or
recorded with some of the biggest names in the business, including Willie Nelson, Lyle
Lovett, Johnny Gimble, Floyd Tillman, Asleep at the Wheel, Johnny Bush, Cliff Bruner, Herb
Remington, Eldon Shamblin, Allison Krause, Kelly Willis, Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and
others.
